Roof Tarping

Storms can cause a lot of damage. I feel like there are more storms in the recent years as opposed to many years ago. At first, I thought it was just the media and level of awareness. That may be accurate to a degree but the strength of the storms and the amount of damage they cause seem to be greater. When storms or hurricanes blow through our area it affects people. Homes that are situated near valleys or located near streams seem to get the most issues. Often times roof shingles can be blown off of a home. SERVPRO of Newark can come and help board up or tarp those areas after the storm has passed. This is important to do because if there is no temporary fix while waiting for the actual repair more damage can occur.
